A Huge Conversion Allows an International Company to Interact Directly with Customers

Aviva is a British multinational insurance company headquartered in London, United Kingdom with approximately 34 million customers in 16 countries.

Aviva Canada relied exclusively on their existing broker network to obtain customers. Historically, if the customer wanted to purchase insurance, Aviva would recommend a local broker for that customer to work with directly. In 2015, the company decided to start selling insurance directly to consumers.

The project was a large one, and the multi-phase undertaking required deep expertise in SEO, analytics, and personalization, along with proven AEM experience to ensure its success. , The company chose Content Thread to build and manage the website after evaluating several possible partners .

The Problem

Aviva retained CT to provide the full technical implementation and partnered with Havas as the lead design agent on the project. The timeline was aggressive and the sprint schedule provided no room for slippage. CT was responsible for the completion integration of the Havas design into AEM 6.1 in both English and French.
