A massive conversion allows Aviva direct customer interaction

Aviva is a British multinational insurance company headquartered in London, UK with approximately 34 million customers in 16 countries. Aviva Canada relied exclusively on its existing broker network to obtain customers. In 2015, the company decided to start selling insurance directly to consumers.

A complex undertaking

Aviva retained Content Thread to provide the full technical implementation and partnered with Havas as the lead design agent on the project. The timeline was aggressive and the sprint schedule provided no room for slippage. Content Thread was responsible for the complete integration of the Havas design into AEM 6.1 in both English and French.

Planning and expertise delivers

The project was large. The multi-phase undertaking required deep expertise in SEO, analytics and personalization, along with proven AEM experience. After its successful launch, Aviva chose Content Thread to build and manage their new website after evaluating several possible partners.
