A Platform for Growth

FLEETCOR’s acquisition of multiple businesses—each on radically different content management systems—prompted the company to embrace Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a unifying platform. Paired with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics, these solutions allowed the company to replatform all of their corporate sites into one CMS to help manage the multiple domains.

With a twelve week timeline, mutual trust and open lines of communication between Content Thread and FLEETCOR had to be established quickly to ensure success. Through an agile project plan of 2-week sprint cycles and multiple on-site meetings to demo the build as it evolved, the first priority was to align the business needs and launch a refreshed, internally designed Fleetcor.com on AEM.

Following this initial engagement, FLEETCOR turned to Content Thread to put forth an aggressive 8-month plan to hit their 2018 digital transformation requirements, including:

  • Salesforce Integration
  • Upgrade of 3 sites from AEM 6.2 to 6.4
  • New components and template to accommodate 13+ microsites
  • PIM Integration in AEM 6.4 Commerce module
  • Build 19 application pages into AEM 6.4
